UPSTAIRS NEIGHBOUR -2025

A 3D animated graduate film created while completing my undergraduate degree in Animation at University of Dundee. Aimed at a young audience, the film follows a rambunctious fox who keeps his long suffering neighbour up all night with his drumkit. Animated and rendered in Maya Arnold, Upstairs Neighbour attempts to emulate traditional stop motion through digital techniques.

I had the honour of directing/showrunning the piece, in addition to my work in character modelling and rigging. In my role as showrunner, my responsibilities also included layout, animation, lighting, and rendering.
